Post-Olympic triumph for Alexandra Zhekova in Bansko

Bulgaria's snowboard princess Alexandra Zhekova (Blade) won the State championship in Bansko with 26.04 seconds and took home her 14th national title. Zhekova came to Bansko directly from the Olympics, where she scored the best ranking for Bulgaria, finishing 6th in the boardercross. In Bansko second became Neda Stoyanova (Moten) and Monika Ruseva (OTP) took the third place.

In the male ranking Valentin Miladinov (Borobord) was fastest. Nikola Chongarov (A-Team) won the gold medal in the attractive ski cross, who left behind Paskal Dichev and Vladimir Popov (both Trakia-SAG).

Despite the heavy snowfall the Bulgarian Ski Federation and Ulen organized a perfect race.
