One of the biggest stars of alpine skiing from the recent past Ted Ligety will be among the special guests of the Bulgarian Ski Federation for the Audi FIS Ski World Cup Bansko 2024, which will take place on February 10th &11th.

"Mr. GS" is the second big star after Alberto Tomba to confirm his presence for the biggest sports event in Bulgaria for 2024, which also coincides with the century anniversary of our skiing federation. 
During his successful career, Ligety had 336 World Cup starts and won 25 of them - 24 in Giant Slalom and 1 Alpine Combined. He was 52 times on the podium. At the World Cup in Schladming 2013, he won 3 gold medals (GS, Combined and Super-G). Ligety has 2 Olympic titles in the Alpine Combination at the Games in Torino in 2006 and in Giant Slalom at Sochi 2014. The American star has competed 8 times at Ski World Cup starts in Bansko.
