On 23 March, 2019 a key partnership agreement was signed between the best ski resort in Switzerland – Verbier and the best ski resort in Bulgaria – Banskо, both voted by World Ski Awards 2018.

During the ski season 2019-2020 the white sports lovers will have the unique opportunity to ski three days for free at one of the resorts when they purchase a seasonal/annual ski pass for the other resort:
- Those who own a seasonal ski card for Bansko and make a direct reservation with partner hotels of Téléverbier SA, will be entitled to three free ski days on the snowy slopes of Verbier.
- All skiers who have bought an annual ski pass for the famous Swiss ski resort will get three ski days for free in Bansko, when booking their vacation through Balkan Holidays Travel Agency.

The largest ski lift company in the French-speaking Switzerland, Téléverbier SA and the concession holder of Bansko ski area - Ulen, negotiated extremely attractive offers for the fans of the winter sports. At the events around the signing ceremony, the Bulgarian side was represented by the mayor of Bansko - Georgi Ikonomov and the owner of the concessioner of Bansko ski area - Marc Girardelli, who launched a promising and extremely significant partnership with their colleagues Eloi Rossier - President of the Commune de Bagnes – one of the largest municipalities in Switzerland, and Laurent Vaucher – CEO of Téléverbier SA. Both sides agreed to promote each of the two ski resorts and conduct joint marketing and advertising campaigns.
The agreement is a great start for beneficial cooperation between the two ski resorts and is a great opportunity for their further promotion on the map of the international ski travellers in the long term.

Verbier
At the centre of the Four Valleys, one of the largest ski areas in Europe, Verbier has everything a top-class winter sports resort should have. It's a veritable Eldorado for any snowsport fan. The skiing area stretches from 1,500 to 3,330m. Thanks to the height and fine snow conditions, 93 lifts let you access 412 km of runs. There are suitable slopes for beginners as well as for advanced ones. In addition, the place is a paradise for freeriders and for those who prefer Fun Parks. If that's not enough you can do heliskiing at the surrounding peaks.
In Verbier there are 8 ski schools. The elite resort is extremely suitable for family vacations, away from the noise of the crowds. The village offers a wide variety of hotels, restaurants, shops, bars and discos.
