22 kids from all over Bulgaria are skiing for free in Bansko between March 31st and April 4th. All of them are winners in the different regions of the country where the camaign "Learn to ski" was conducted. The young skiers had the opportunity to rush down the legendary "Tomba" track, where 8 FIS Ski & Snowboard World Cups were held. They received in Bansko their medals and cups which they won during the season. In addition the children watched the Super-G slalom of the State Skiing Championship and then they received lots of presents from the Ulen Ski School and the sponsors of the campaign - A1.

The 11th edition of the most socially oriented project of the Bulgarian Ski Federation and the Ministry of Youth and Sports "Learn to ski" was participated by 2253 children from Bansko, Samokov, Smolyan, Chepelare, Berkovitsa, Pleven, Blagoevgrad, Sofia, Govedartsi, Kyustendil and Plovdiv. In Troyan there was also a cross-country skiing competition.

The training of the kids is carried out by professional ski instructors. Up to now over 32 000 children have been trained and educated to respect, love and preserve the mountain and the nature in general. Statistics show that over 60% of program participants continue to practice winter sports.
