Everyone who wants to support Bansko to get its 10th consecutive title at the World Ski Awards can vote HERE!

The 10th voting on the web page of the highest instance in the tourism industry and equivalent of the Oscars in cinema started on June 17th and ends on October 7th, 2022. More than 200 top-ranked participants spread on 5 continents participate the 16-week online competition. According to the rules first the national award winners are appointed followed by the worldwide winners. 2 million votes from more than 140 countries will turn this competition at Worldskiawards.com into the largest in the industry and one of the most cosmopolitan, officially conducted at all. 

Bansko is honored to be among only 7 locations in the world with a full set of 9 prizes from all 9 editions of the World Ski Awards so far - in this achievement the small Bulgarian town is at the top of the ranking since 2013 and it is accompanied by the host of the event Kitzbühel – the most iconic winter center in Austria, the highest resort in Europe Val Thorens in France, the German Garmisch-Partenkirchen, the Russian pride Rosa Khutor, the Swedish Are and the famous American Deer Valley.

Currently Bansko has nominations in 3 out of 4 main categories (Best Ski Resort, Best Hotel, Best Boutique Hotel and Best Chalet). In the most significant of them as in previous editions we are accompanied by the resorts Borovets, Pamporovo and Vitosha.

Kempinski Grand Arena Bansko, which has 8 prizes so far faces its local competitors from "Lucky Bansko", "Regnum Bansko Apart Hotel & Spa", "Premier Luxury Mountain Resort" and by   "Grand Hotel Bansko". In this category there are also the hotels "Rila" and "Yastrebets" in Borovets and "Orlovets" in Pamporovo. In the category Ski chalets the British owned "Jora", "Mila" and "Diana-Ross" complete the total of 9 nominations for Bansko this year.

The award ceremony will take place as usual in the A-Rosa Hotel in Kitzbühel between November 18-20th, 2022.
