The winter fun starts on December 15th at Banderishka Polyana with a concert by Gery-Nikol

Unfortunately the special guest for the season kick off Patrick Ortlieb, will not be able to come to Bansko due to illness. In the game "Get in the team of the champ" Ortlieb's athletes will be led by the Bulgarian ski legend Maria Kirkova!
 
The best winter resort on the Balkans - Bansko launches the new ski season with many games and unique prizes. A brand new Audi A3 is awaiting its new owner next Saturday, December 15th at Banderishka Polyana. The car can be won in the game "Treasure Hunters", which traditionally fills the resort with crowds of enthusiasts on the season kick off.
Everyone can look for the awards hidden in the snow. Besides the big award Audi A3 there are many other prize boxes buried in the snow – they include special spa holidays, weekend vouchers for two, golden items, mobile devices and many other surprises.
There are two more games - "Get in the team of the champ" and "Find gold in the lift".

This years special guest for the opening ceremony will be the Austrian Olympic and World Champion Patrick Ortlieb. He will try to attract the best amateur skiers in his team to compete against Marc Girardelli's team. The fastest among all amateur skiers will win a season pass for Bansko.

The game "Find gold in the lift" will delight over 100 guests of the resort - everyone who takes the gondola lift on December 15th has the opportunity to win gold items from Fibank. For those who do not hit the jackpot, there will be other prizes like luxury winter sports items and cocktails.

Special guests on the snow fiesta are hit singer Gery-Nikol and the dancers of ballet "Nova". The musical program will start at noon on the stage under the slope "Alberto Tomba". The host of the event Deo and DJ Sprite will bring good mood to the crowd.

After the events in the mountain the party will continue on the square in the city center with music, dances and special dishes prepared by TV star chef Uti Bachvarov.

The most successful Bulgarian winter resort expects a great season. There will be FIS World Cup races from February 22nd to February 24th, 2019. The men will compete in slalom for the Alpine combination and in Super G and Giant slalom (GS).
Just a few weeks ago Bansko was awarded by the World Ski Awards Academy in Kitzbuehel.
