After in 2017 Kempinski was declared for the 4th time as the Best Ski Hotel by the highest possible instance in the industry the World Ski Awards and after it took the same prize from the no less prestigious International Hospitality Awards, now "Kempinski Grand Arena Bansko" won in the category "Best Hotel of Bulgaria for 2018" at the World Travel Awards. The vote was held online on the official website of the organization and was participated by tourism professionals and by the end-users – hotel guests.

The Pirin pearl, part of the oldest deluxe chain of Europe and certainly Bulgaria’s most titled hotel was awarded at a ceremony in the historic "Zappeion" hall in the center of the Greek capital Athens.

"It is a great honor for us to win for the second time in a row. This confirms that  Bansko is on the world map, distinguishing it as a destination on a very high international level. I am very happy because this is a great recognition for the hotel team. I sincerely thank all voters for their trust and their high score", stated general manager Natalia Kashirskaya.
