The most awarded hotel in Bulgaria "Kempinski Grand Arena Bansko" won awards in the competition "Beautiful gardens of 2018" organized by the municipality. With its 5-star flowers the Pirin pearl, part of the oldest and most luxurious hotel chain in Europe, won the first place in the category "Most Beautiful Arranged Yard" and "Most Colorful Balcony" among hotels and guest houses.

The finalists' awards ceremony was held at the House of Arts in Bansko, where an exhibition with photos of the winners was arranged. The jury had three members - Rayna Tsigoriyna, a landscape architect, Ivanka Yanchovichina and Elena Topuzova, who chose the winners in 8 categories. The competition took place on the Facebook page of the municipality of Bansko during this summer.

"35 participants showed their gardens, courtyards, facades and balconies. It is unbelievable how many people are trying to create beauty and aesthetics. That deserves admiration and respect", said the mayor of Bansko Mr. Georgi Ikonomov.

On September 29th Kempinski Grand Arena Bansko won another prize - for Best Eco-Hotel in the competition Bulgarian Tourism Prizes 2018. In July this year for the second consecutive year Kempinski was titled by the World Travel Awards as the "Best Hotel in Bulgaria".
