This year again many bulgarian and foreign tourists chose the freshness of Pirin for summer recreation. Apart from the tranquility and variety of cultural activities and music festivals offered by Bansko, tourists have lots of opportunities for sports activities in the mountain. The gondola takes you to Banderishka Polyana, where you'll find restaurants, a 400-meter water slide (pictured below), a climbing wall and many other entertainment options for kinds and adults.

For the active ones there is a great variety of mountain routes - whether it is a trip to Baykusheva Mura, which is an about 1300 years old tree or to Ribno Lake (pictured below), which is located at 2190 meters above sea level.

Other excellent opportunities for summer hikes in the mountain are in the region of ​​Bezbog hut (pictured below), which is located at 2240 m above sea level - you can summit Bezbog peak or Polezan peak or hike to Lake Tevno, which is farther and surrounded by wilder nature.
