Please support Bansko to get its 9th consecutive title at the World Ski Awards HERE!

The voting on the web page of the highest instance in the tourism industry and equivalent of the Oscars in cinema starts on June 4th and ends December 31st, 2021. More than 200 top-ranked participants spread on 5 continents enter the online competition. According to the rules first the national award winners are appointed followed by the worldwide winners. 2 million votes from more than 140 countries will turn this competition at Worldskiawards.com into the largest in the industry and one of the most cosmopolitan, officially conducted at all.

Bansko is honored to be among a very limited number of locations in the world with a full set of 8 prizes from all 8 editions of the World Ski Awards.

Currently Bansko has nominations in 3 out of 4 main categories (Best Ski Resort, Best Hotel, Best Boutique Hotel and Best Chalet). In the most significant among them - Bulgaria's Best Ski Resort we are accompanied as in previous editions by the resorts Borovets, Pamporovo and Vitosha.

Kempinski Grand Arena Bansko, which has 7 prizes by now, again competes with its local competitors from "Lucky Bansko", "Regnum Bansko Apart Hotel & Spa", "Premier Luxury Mountain Resort" and by "Grand Hotel Bansko". In this category there are also the hotels "Rila" and "Yastrebets" in Borovets and "Orlovets" in Pamporovo.
In the category Ski chalets the British owned "Jora", "Mila" and "Diana-Ross" complete the total of 9 nominations for Bansko for 2021.

The award ceremony will take place as usual in the A-Rosa Hotel in Kitzbühel.
