Support Bansko in the eleventh edition of the World Ski Awards! Vote HERE!

The voting will take place on the page of the highest authority in the travel industry between June 26th and October 13th, 2023.
Over 200 resorts located on 5 continents participate in the 16-week online competition. According to the rules of WSA the winners are first determined first on national and then on global level.
The voting on the Worldskiawards.com site has been held since 2013 and usually involves more than 2 million people, mainly tourists who use the service, but also professionals and tour operators. The aim is to raise standards in the ski tourism industry by recognizing organizations that are leaders in their field. This turns the World Ski Awards into the largest poll of its kind in the industry, as well as one of the largest ever held officially.

Bansko has been awarded “Bulgaria’s Best Ski Resort" for 10 years in a row and thus it is among only 6 places on the planet that have a complete set of 10 prizes from the 10 editions of the World Ski Awards held until the moment. Another resort with a similar achievement is the legendary Kitzbühel in Austria.

This year, Bansko has nominations in 3 of the 4 main categories, which are Best Ski Resort, Best Ski Hotel, Best Ski Boutique Hotel and Best Ski Chalet.
In the most important of them Best Ski Resort Bansko competes with Borovets, Pamporovo and Vitosha.
In the Best Ski Hotel 2023 category Kempinski Grand Arena Bansko, which already has 9 titles, will compete with its local competitors Lucky Bansko, Grand Hotel Bansko and Premier Luxury Mountain Resort, which triumphed in 2016. In the same category are also Rila Hotel and Yastrebets Hotel located in Borovets, as well as Orlovets Hotel in Pamporovo.
3 chalets from Bansko enter the competition in the category of the same name - these are Chalet Jora and Chalet Mila as well as Snomads Chalet Diana-Ross. They will compete with Villa Gela in Pamporovo and Villa Stresov in Borovets.

As usual, the World Ski Awards ceremony, which usually takes place in the autumn, will be hosted by Hotel Arosa in Kitzbühel.
