For the 8th consecutive year Bansko is the Best Ski Rresort in Bulgaria according to the highest authority in the tourism industry - the World Ski Awards. The small town in Pirin mountain is ranked once again among the best ski destinations on the planet. The online competition featured over 200 locations across 5 continents.
In such hard times this is a very important recognition, because people want to be sure that they are booking the very best.

Over 2.4 million customers and professionals from more than 140 countries voted at Worldskiawards.com, making this survey the biggest in the industry.

Two other World Ski Awards come to Bansko as well: the Best Ski Hotel in Bulgaria is once again the glamorous Kempinski Grand Arena Bansko. Bulgaria's Best Ski Chalet 2020 is Snomads Chalet Diana-Ross also located in Bansko!
For the 6th time the Best Ski Boutique Hotel in Bulgaria is "Alpin" in Borovets.

"Even in such hard times for tourism we are working very hard to maintain a high level in the industry. Our biggest challenge now is to provide the best possible service even during the COVID-crisis. I think this year people recognised the importance of spending time in nature by doing sports, because it stregthens the immumne system. In the upcoming winter season 2020-2021 in Bansko we will work in full compliance with the highest hygene standards.
