Three awards from the World Ski Awards for 2025 are coming to Bansko! The small town under Todorka Peak in Pirin was chosen for the 13th consecutive time as “Bulgaria’s Best Ski Resort”. The prestigious forum determines Kempinski Hotel Grand Arena Bansko as “Bulgaria’s Best Ski Hotel 2025”. The third WSA award goes to Diana Ross, which was named “Bulgaria’s Best Ski Chalet 2025”. The title “Bulgaria’s Best Ski Boutique Hotel 2025” was awarded to Hotel Alpin in Borovets. 

This year, the online competition took place between June 23rd and October 10th at www.worldskiawards.com. The survey is not just the largest in the industry, but also one of the most global ever conducted. The distinction is awarded through anonymous voting by professionals working in the ski industry; users of the service; tour operators; agents and media. That is why many consider the World Ski Awards to be the equivalent of the “Oscar” in the tourism industry.

“This is another recognition for our work well done by our guests and by professionals working in the field of ski tourism! This is also confirmed by the International Ski and Snowboard Federation FIS - every year Pirin Mountains host a round of the Ski or Snowboard World Cup. In the upcoming winter season 2025-2026, on January 17th and 18th, Bansko will host a round of the Snowboard World Cup for men and women,” said Ivan Obreykov. The marketing director of the concessionaire Ulen AD added that until November 30th, 2025, the seasonal lift pass for Bansko will be at a promotional price of BGN 1,700.
